By accessing or using EquiLog ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

EquiLog is a cloud-based equipment management platform that provides tools for tracking equipment, managing calibrations, scheduling bookings, team collaboration, and generating analytics reports. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any features at any time.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

EquiLog offers a 7-day free trial and paid subscription plans. Trial accounts have full access to Starter features for the trial period. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in USD as selected during checkout.

4.2 Billing

All paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion and typically not available for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Collect user data without consent
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access

6. Data and Content

6.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a license to host, store, and process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6.2 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Data. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or damages resulting from inaccurate data entry.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by EquiLog and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without explicit permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (such as Stripe for payments). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any third-party service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EQUILOG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EquiLog and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
